June Newsletter

"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance."

– Psalm 33:12

Greetings!

We hope everyone is enjoying their summer and getting out and spending time with their family and friends. I want to take this opportunity to thank Southwire for awarding us a grant to help fund the Rapha Clinic Better Health Program 2023. The funds from this grant will go towards Diabetes/Hypertension supplies and the needed equipment to help better serve our patients. Southwire has been a huge supporter of the Rapha Clinic for the past decade and we can’t thank them enough for their generosity.

The Rapha team has been hard at work at putting events together for our community. We are participating in this year's Agencies That Serve Carroll County Health Fair on July 15th from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Carrollton. We want to encourage everyone to come out and see us! The Rapha team has also secured a date and a venue for this year’s Sound of Medicine which will be Sept. 7 at the University of West Georgia. We are very excited for you to join us in the fun, we think it will be our best year yet! We are also in the works of doing a collaboration with Sabrina Kheder for a Self Defense Class fundraiser in September, so keep a lookout and see how you can participate!

We want to thank everyone who thought of us during their June giving. Your generous contributions will go towards keeping the Rapha Clinic mission alive for 2023 and making sure that we provide high quality medical care to those people in need. We are truly blessed when it comes to our supporters.

One of the goals for this year is to participate in more local events. If you or someone you know is hosting an event that might be suitable for the Rapha Clinic and our mission, please reach out to us!

For the month of July, we want to encourage everyone to keep us in your minds when making your end of the month financial contributions. With your generous support, we are blessed to be able to keep total focus on our mission and continue to help and serve the people in our community that are in dire need of medical and dental attention. Thank you so much and have a great Fourth of July!
